Admissions
Our main intake is in September, however new students can join the school at any time throughout the academic year, if places are available.
All students sit an entrance examination to determine their level of attainment and to help us ensure they meet the required academic standard for entry into the school. Entry is achieved by passing the entrance exam together with an interview with the Head Teacher.
There are three easy steps to apply to MIGSG:
- Complete the registration form (download below)
- Attach proof of your daughter’s date of birth – either a copy of her Birth Certificate or the information page of her Passport.
- Enclose the Registration fee of £50.00 (Payable by BACS payment only Account Name – MIET LTD, Account Number – 10094401,Sort code – 16 – 34 – 27, Ref: REG FEES –DAUGHTERS NAME).
- You can then post the completed registration form to school or hand in to the school office. Registration forms must be submitted to the school office by Friday 8th December 2023.

English as an Additional Language – (EAL)
The majority of our students speak other languages than English at home. They are at various stages of learning English as an additional language. The school has developed a strategy to develop literacy in all subjects, so as to raise standards of English of every pupil. Most pupils are Bi-Lingual.
Special Educational Needs – SEN
The School does not have suitable provision for students with SEN. However, students are closely monitored if a student is identified who has a particular learning difficulty, the school will inform the parents to ensure external support is given. Equally, gifted and talented students are identified and appropriate challenging work is set so that they achieve their maximum potential.
